A Little HOPE

A 501(c)(3) charitable foundation which grants funds in order to provide grief counseling and bereavement support services to children and teens who have experienced the loss of a parent or loved one, regardless of the circumstances of the death.

The Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families

The Alcove's mission is to provide a safe place where children and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one can receive comfort and support through the healing process.

Americas Camp

A fun, high quality, one-week, sleep away camp for children who lost a parent or sibling in the attacks on September 11th and for children of firefighters and police officers lost in the line of duty at any time.

Bereaved Parents of the USA

A national support group for parents who have had a child die, at any age from any cause.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City

The 9/11 Together We Stand Program provides long-term help for children who lost a parent/close relative/guardian in the World Trade Center attacks. Professionally supervised, caring, adult mentors are matched with a child for a minimum commitment of one year, the average being three.

Compassionate Friends

A national non-profit, self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

A national non-profit organization dedicated to the well being of children under the age of eighteen who have experienced the death of one or both of their parents.

The Sanctuary
