Volunteer
Named Virginia Social Worker of the Year
The National Association of Social Workers, Virginia
Chapter, has named our very own Jill Fitzgerald 2003
Social Worker of the Year! Jill was a founding Comfort
Zone Camp Board member and has been instrumental in
the formation of camp. She has been giving of her time
and energy to assist with such things as camp program
development, camper screening and volunteer training.
Jill is a clinical social worker specializing in grief
therapy and opened the Grief Resource Center in Richmond,
VA in 1996. The Grief Resource Center offers information
and services regarding grief therapy. We are truly lucky
to have Jill and her expertise in the “zone”,
the “camp zone”.
